Dr Lascelle Baker qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Pretoria, where she obtained her MBChB degree in 2009. She has been in active clinical practice ever since, earning a strong reputation for compassionate, patient-centred care.

As a General Practitioner, Dr Baker is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients. She focuses not only on addressing immediate health concerns, but also on preventative care, long-term wellness, and improving overall quality of life. Her approach combines thorough medical assessment with personalised treatment planning to ensure each patient receives care that is both effective and appropriate to their individual needs.

Her clinical work includes comprehensive medical examinations, interpretation of diagnostic investigations, and the development of tailored management plans. Dr Baker has a special interest in children’s health and is known for her gentle, reassuring manner with young patients and their families. She also has a special interest in psychiatric and mental health care, providing supportive, holistic management for patients experiencing emotional, psychological, and mental health challenges.

Dr. Simony’s journey toward becoming a trusted local general practitioner began at North-West University’s, where she completed a BSc Honours degree in Physiology. Through community outreach work in underserved areas, she discovered her passion for caring for others and pursued her medical degree (MBBCh) at the University of the Witwatersrand. 

Dr. Simony provides holistic, patient-centered family healthcare for individuals of all ages. She believes good health care starts with listening and treating the whole person not just the symptoms.  She has a special interest in patient education, preventative care, chronic disease management, and the treatment of common everyday conditions. Her scope of practice also includes minor surgical procedures, IV drip infusions, general Botox injections, joint injections for pain, and comprehensive female health screenings.

As a wife, new mother, and devoted dog owner, she understands the importance of compassionate, personalised care. She strives to build long-term relationships with her patients, walking alongside them on their health journeys and delivering care that is both attentive and empowering.
